POCKET NEIGHBORHOOD

This project is a design for a sustainable house in a pocket neighborhood for a newly wed couple in the heart of Austin, TX. Christopher is a military veteran who suffered an amputation of his leg post war. Thus the house is also universally designed for Christopher's needs.

The concept for this design for my clients Jenna and Christopher Wellington is "Dynamic Serenity."  It incorporates a young and fun contemporary energy or dynamic edge while incorporating a soft comforting serenity. All infused with biophilic, sustainable, and green design. It is a design concept in which strives to enhance the couples love for nature as well as giving them the healing affinity needed for Christopher and blending it all in with their fun, young, edgy personalities and contemporary style.
